Graduated from University of Sherbrooke in Psychology of Human Relations with a concentration in Intercultural Relations, Francois has been a consultant in organizational psychology since 1997. He has come to believe that for change to occur, it must be accompanied by a shift in mindset that reinforces coherence or consistency. In 2018, Francois founded InterCoherence to offer organizational development (o.d.) consulting services focused on systemic and cultural change mangement within organizations.

The Golden Rectangle, and the Golden Curve (Fibonacci Sequence) are chosen as a logo to symbolize growth and progress in what we wish to be perfect consistency.

Emergence of the Trillium approach

As I approached my retirement, I have naturally chosen to reassess my life plan. After brainstorming around the question "What do I want for the rest of my life," I sorted the elements according to their connections; three interdependent categories emerged: 1) what I want to achieve and accomplish; 2) what I want to experience and feel; 3) what is truly important to me, my guiding values, my identity.

The trillium figure soon emerged as the best illustration of the dynamic interdependence between these three foundations of my existential health. By discussing with clients and friends, I understood that several authors arrived at similar models of coherence, with variable language. By adopting this perspective of coherence, my choices have become easier, I attract what suits me, and opportunities are more numerous and meaningful. My work with individuals and organizations reinforces the deep conviction that human beings, individually or collectively, strive for this balance, this coherence.

In the face of the weakening job market and the challenge of retention, InterCohérence has redefined its offer and launched TRILLIUM. To meet the immense needs of organizations, InterCohérence chooses to equip multipliers (external consultants and internal leaders) for the development of empowerment competence, which we believe is the best lever. From now on, InterCohérence will train and accredit them free of charge. Everyone wins.
